Hi all
Jen some won't power is exactly what I need! Will give it a go today. Out for a birthday lunch with my Aunt so will have to do lots of won'ts!
Dette don't apologise for awol, life is so so busy and we are here whenever you are able . Sounds like you are doing great with the exercise, keep it up duckie!

Good morning Daisey and duckies to follow!
WELL.. HAPPY FRIDAY! :)
Today is going to be another tough food and drink day... we have cake day today at work, for everyones bdays for this month, im going to avoid it like the plague haha! staying out of the kitchen is the key and do not even think about looking at the cakes! (i know one is a massive vanilla slice cake and they are my FAVE!!) anyway! then later for lunch im going out with my boss and a few collegues to chinese for lunch... then tonight going to dinner and gold class (seeing ECLIPSE cannot wait!) so another gold class i have to try and be good at! sigh.. sometimes its a bit hard!
anyway here is what i was thinking of having for lunch, can you please tell me what would be the best choice!! it would be a massive help..
1) chargrilled eggplant rice noodles roll with chinese vinegar and chilli - with a side of wok greens.
2)wok fried satay chicken and prawn, spring onion pancake (dont think this would be a wise choice but it sounds amazing!)
3)braised duck spring roll with spiced plum and hoi sin dressing (entree)
ok you know what, i think i just made my choice. number 1. but please let me know which one you think is the best choice!

also if you lovely gals could help me out with dinner too that would be great! sorry to take over the board today :(
anyway here is what i was thinking of having for dinner so can you please let me know what you think the best option would be! thanks heaps :)
1) Warm Beef Salad
tender beef strips placed on a bed of mesculin salad with semi-dried
tomatoes, cucumber, red capsicum, Spanish onion & black olives, drizzled
with honey mustard soy dressing
2)Grilled Chicken & Cous Cous Salad
chicken tenderloins placed on mesculin salad with tomatoes, cucumber,
Spanish onion & a cous cous stack topped with tzatziki & almond flakes
3)Oven Roasted Vegetable Risotto
with roasted vegetables flavoured with our own rich Napolitana sauce
4) Tuna foccasica Tuna
tomatoes, Spanish onion, pesto, lettuce & a seeded mustard mayonnaise

beebee - I'd go the warm beef salad with dressing on the side (that way you can control what you put on it)..

Morning Dette, Daisy, Beebee and all duckies who follow,
Another warm day here today, weather man reckons it will change tomorrow but I am hoping he is wrong (he has been all week). I agree with you Daisy for some reason cold weather makes me starving.
I might start using my won't power as well, I will loose weight and I won't eat that packet of d'lites.
I won't be around this weekend, we have a long weekend here and as already mentioned I am going camping, we went shopping last night and it is going to be hard to stay on track, I got myself some skinny dip and 'low fat' cheese with crackers so even if I do blow out it wont be as bad (well thats what I am telling myself lol). Had a sneaky look at the scales this morning and I was down 800g so hopefully that will motivate me to stay on track a tiny bit.
Beebee I think your right with the chinese, option 1 sounds like the best choice to me (and 2 sounds yummy although not very WW friendly). With dinner I agree with Dette number 1 sounds the best option with dressing on the side with 2 and 3 probably OK as well.

OK better get into some work, I will try and check in tonight to see how everyone went today.

sigh.. lunch = total blow out as we all shared and of course got pressured into trying EVERYTHING... just had flourless orange cake for a bday, argh! im so annoyed... i dont want to gain again this week.... i guess i see how dinner goes and i have to try to control myself, but i dont know that i will. im so annoyed at myself! im going to try and fit gym in before dinner so i atleast feel a bit better... oh well
:(
