Hi ladies,
Starting the thread this morning :)
Lou, hope you feel good this morning and that your day at work will be peaceful.
Erica, did you get that walk in in the end?
Lisa, so nice to have your mother cleaning the house for you, kudos to her! If I ever have a family I hope it will be close enough to my mum ;-) Very excited to see her soon too.
I can't remember if I told you ladies but my brother and his wife just welcome a new baby to their family, the 3d one!! So Im living at his place at the moment until tomorrow, looking after the 2 other kiddies. Well to be honest I don't have much to do at the moment as my bro comes back in time from the hospital for the morning routine and leave after they are in bed. Im glad the 2 other kids get to have their dad around as they seem to miss their mum a lot. I love being in a family, with its routine, playing with the kids etc. I found it easier to be busy and not thinking about my weight loss. Such a positive vibe too, it's like bathing in a tub full of bubly love hehe.
Bought myself a new pair of jeans last night, they fit like a glove and make me look so slim it's shocking! :-) Not so happy about the last pair of jeans I bought 3 weeks ago and that already look all baggie on me :-/
I will use the new pair as my reliable scale when in France and will try them on every morning to make sure I maintain my weight.
Oh I baked some apple cinnamon muffins last night and they worked out to be 1.5pts each. If they are yummy I'll post the recipe somewhere here ;)

Morning!
where would we all be without our family? As the saying goes, can't live with them, can't live without them. Our household routine has not been the same since DD, BF and their puppy moved in almost 2 weeks ago. I kinda like it better without them but still enjoy having them around (I think???).
Your new jeans must feel fabulous Marie! Great idea to use them to keep you accountable while away.
Nice of your brother to think of your waistline as he served up garlic bread and creamy pasta for dinner. Hope your day is a better one today Lou.
Looking forward to having dinner alone with DH tonight. Lamb tagine from July's WW mag was on the menu but that may change.
We are out with friends for dinner tomorrow night (probably a Greek cafe) before seeing Fame the musical at QPAC. Looking forward to that, we all enjoy live shows.
What's everyone else up to?

Marie, I did get my walk in with Oscar. Tried to encourage DD to come with me with her pup but just got vague excuses.
Off to clean the house now. Sometimes I think it's a waste of time but I can't stand mess. Lisa, you are so lucky to have your Mum do yours this week.

Hi girls,
awww, thanks Marie. It really is the only photo we have together. We do cherish our time together purely because we dont see alot of Dean. Distance truely does make the heart grow fonder. We have been together for 9 1/2yrs and we still talk every night.
Its so important to have family close by when you start a family. You need all the help you can get some days. Today i have had nothing to do and Kynan has been asleep for the past 2hrs. Finally it feels like I have had a day off. He slept for 1.5hrs this morning so i had a nap on the couch too.
Erica I made a batch of the lamb tagine up last month and it is so yummy. I have it with vegies or rice and its great for freezing too. You could even make it into a pie.
Looking forward to the weekend to do absolutely nothing.
