How are you all this morning?

Jen and Di - all the best for the hotting up weather down safe. Stay safe and take care.

Jen - that's good news about work. Both you and Di, it seems to me, have really blossomed with your work and shown the bosses how good you are.

Have Maria and Tess desserted us? Haven't seen them for days. Come back girls - I miss you :)

Hiya Stacey and T

Off to church soon, and then no other plans for the day. YAY

Have a great Sunday

Morning girls,
sorry i've been awol. Life is getting very busy now that i'm back at work, and my official classes start next week so its going to get worse.

Pleased to hear you've all been well this week. Di sounds like you've been working up a storm. I don't know how you do 5 - 10 Jen and then ride, i'd be shattered, or i'd need a nana nap each day!!

We have a columbian family coming to live with us for two weeks, we meet them this afternoon so I'm baking a banana cake, so best get to it. I'll try to drop in more often this week.

have a good day
Stacey

Hello
I cannot speak for Tess...have not seen her for a while on the 80 thread. I have not desserted you and if I did it would be a dark chocolate mud cake ;)
Just AWOL for a bit while I get myself back under 80. Usual Maria stuff...get somewhere and freak out. A work in progress is all I can say.
It has been hot but I have been getting out for my early morning walks. Got my kettlebell in the mail the other day. Might entertain the kids later today and give it a go.
Have a super Sunday.
Maria :)

Morning all

Well had a lazy sleep in this morning, and a bit of a lazy day till work 4-9 today.

I feel the hours r all in the mind set, all the walking up and down and the packing of boxes is like my gym work out but it is cheap cos I am getting paid for it.

Hello to everyone as I am just about to hit the shower.

Hello everyone
Just back from my ride, and just in time, as it's really heating up out there.

Stacey sounds like you're in for a busy couple of weeks with your work and your visitors. Hopefully you get to enjoy the visitors.

Good to see you pop back in Maria. I know what you mean about being a work in progress. I'm a great sabotager.Just when I'm going well, I manage to throw myself totally off track. Says a lot about me I suppose.

Well I had proud mum moment yesterday. DD had a full page in the Age yesterday. She has a book launch on Thursday and they had an extract from the book. It was a great coup for her to be featured. She tells me there's lots more coming after the book is out.

Hello to Di, Jan, Trish. Have a great Sunday everyone.

A kettlebell is a gadget. "Kettlebells: The ultimate hand held fitness tool for strength, weight loss and well being."
http://www.kettlebells.com.au/index.php
I have noticed that it does not come with something boots you up the ar$e to use it :)
I have been pondering and thinking of getting one for a long time. It is a weight that *apparently* aids all over exercise. Apart from my fitball I don't have any other gadgets so hopefully this will cover it.
There's an article in the latest WW mag with Melinda G Taylor using one.

Must note your DD's book Jen. I like a good read :)

Let us know how it goes Maria.

I am off the the cricket this arvo with a couple of friends from church. It's a fun 20/20 match raising money for the bushfires. Should be fun.

Fun?! Having fun?! On a Sunday? Jeez what is happening with the world.
I did a couple of routines with the KB. Not something that one should do with children around. 8kg in weight, it's a bit dangerous. Still, once we sorted that out the kids had a laugh...might have had something to do with the fact that I was doing it in my knickers :)

Is jan ignoring my chicken request??
