Morning ladies!
Nat - congrats on the loss! That is great news! I am very envious. Well done!!!
I dont weigh in on Thursdays - but weighed myself yesterday and I was back up to 54kg! soooo depressing.
I feel like I have lost a bit of my motivation (having little bits of chocolate here and there and just kind of picking at cheese etc).....not good.
I need to stick to the plan strictly as that is the only way I find it works.
On the postitive side - I have completely cut down on the alcohol consumption (to about 3 -4 glasses a week) - which is so much less for me as I used to drink every night and then have "big nights' on the weekend.
But I still have a way to go with exercise.....I know I will get there slowly but surely.
Strangely, I feel better in my body, even if I havent had a huge overall loss since being back on WW.
Hope you all have a great day!
Bec

That's ace Bec that you have cut down on the wines. Remember we can not change everything at once. Start with the wine and then work on your next goal.

That's actually a really good point Nat - I always feel like I have to work on everything at once - but maybe if I choose one goal every fortnight or something to work on (eg. first cut down alcohol, second, portion sizes, third snacking) or something like that....it may not seem as overwhelming....

Morning Nat and Bec and other ladies to follow,
47.7kg this morning. I am still taking it easy this week. I think I need to make sure I don't get run down and let this cold take hold. A busy day at work, we are doing Tuesday's timetable. The Athletics Carnival has been postponed to next Friday because of the rain.
Have a great day chat later if I get a chance.

Hi ladies,
Whoohoo Nat a big congrats on the loss. Well you must have sent that lost weight over my way because I gained 500g this week. Gutted but it is a fair reflection of my week. I seem to have one good week, then one bad week and so on. This week has to be good. I have 5 WI's to go before my wedding and I have to get below 70.8 to reach goal. I still have the challenge of my hens night in there too along with a few birthdays and outings. Must remain focused. feeling good though. Off to circuits at lunch.
Bec, well done on cutting down on alcohol, I found that the hardest part (and still struggle from time to time when it creeps back into daily life). I like the idea of changing one small thing at a time, it makes it all much more of a lifestyle change then a diet. Good luck.
Will chat again soon.

hi ladies!
NAT! AWESOME loss - well done!!
Adalita I hope you're feeling better soon, good idea to take it easy for the next few days and build up your strength to avoid a cold setting in.
Bec I agree with Nat, best to concentrate on one thing at a time - far less overwhelming that way!
Kirsty that sucks about the gain, but you're sounding very motivated so i'm sure next week's will be better - good idea to look at the next 5 weeks as 5 individual WI's that you need to conquor, just set your mind on seeing the scales head south this time next week and you'll do fine.
Well I had a small loss - 400g. Back down to 71.1. I was a bit disappointed as the scales yesterday said 70.6 and I was thinking I may have been able to pull of a kilo loss, but not to be.
My challenge for this coming week is to survive saturday and sunday without going over point. Weekend's are my biggest challenge so really have to concentrate on this!
x

Hi Ladies,
Congrats to everyone who had a loss woohoo nand don't worry Kirsty as Beth said next week you'll be back on track.
I lost 400g this week so down to 63.6kg, only 600g to goal so will see how we go, havent done any exercise this week as I have been a bit out of sorts but hopefully will be back on track soon. Am wondering if that will result in a gain next week but hey we'll see. Just can't seem to get to that 63kg :)

Nat: Awesome on the 800g loss.
bec: I only drink Thursday and Saturday nights a few glasses of wine or vodka lime and soda (homemade). I love my alcohol and I'm glad I haven't had to loose it completely like I did with Tony Ferguson. I love the freedom WW gives us as ultimatley it is our choice. If I want to spend 5 points on alcohol; then I will.
Kirsty: It sounds like you know what caused the gain but your working on improving. I know you will make it through all the outings and be stunning on your wedding day.
Beth: congratulation on the 400g loss, I hate it when out weight does that.
Dani: another 400g awesome news. ^00g to get to goal. You can do it. Have you thought about doing fast start to get you back on track?
Have a great afternoon/ evening!

Kirsty, how much do you want to loss in 5 weeks? Why not break it down week by week, rather than looking at the whole time. If you lose a little each week it might be easier than trying really hard for one week and then getting a little slack for the next. It is only 5 weeks out for your entire life to be good, it isn't that hard really. And you will love yourself for it on your wedding day. Get a calendar and a big texta and cross off each day at a time. It will not be long until your wedding day is here and you are at your goal weight. What a wedding present to yourself. No one else can give it to you but you!!
Beth and Dani, congrats on the equal 400g loss.
Adalita, rest up and take it easy.
My hubby had chest pain yesterday and today so he has taken himself off to A & E for tests. Will know more later but it looks ok. He does have a bit of a dodgie (?spelling) heart so he has to be careful.
Chat later.

Dani great work on the 400 :)
Nat, I hope your hubby is ok!! That sounds a little scary, but good on him for heading to A&E, too many men try to act tough when it comes to health issues. All the best to you and your fam
Just made some low fat nachos with mountain bread and refried beans and veg. Was so yummy!
Have a good night ladies :) x

Nat: I hope hubby is all well. Good on him for going to the Accident and Emergency; it good that he did. give him a hug from all us girls too.
Tomorrow my partners father is having his cataract removed; which has reminded me to get my eyes checked with my ophthalmologist (who happens to be his too). I don't want to risk going blind again.
Have a great night ladies. My thoughts are with you & your hubby Nat.

Hi Nat – just read about your husband – i really hope he is OK – there is nothing scarier than family health issues. Let us know!
Kirsty – I have gained too – it is such a let down isn’t it! But just remember – 5 weeks is nothing! Hens day will be tough – i know i certainly didn’t stick with WW on my hens day!! Haha enjoy the whole process of the wedding because it will be over before you know it!

Girl's, thank you so much for your support . That is very caring of you. Hubby is ok. He was discharged from hospital this afternoon. He is actually a dr so l knew it must be serious when he voluntary took himself off to a & e. His father passed away at a young age of a heart attack so unfortunately he has the family history of heart problems.
Adalita, all the best for your father tomorrow.
Bec, sorry to hear that you had a gain. But remember some gains are hormonal so don't stress too much.
Well enough for me for one evening, chat tomorrow.
Nat
P.s sorry for typos etc but l am using an iPad and don't know how to go back and proof read it. Lol
