Hi team!!

This is a new challenge to lose around 4kgs by October. All are welcome.

No gym for me this morning - I'm going to be having a very late night tonight so I thought a sleep in was in order. I'll try and do a bit of moving while the kids have a sleep today.

How did all the reading go Lizzy? It's so overwhelming when you get that back file of stuff to go through. I felt like I was studying for an exam when I first started!

hhein99 - have an awesome time in the Kimberely's. I'd love to get there one day - it's so beautiful! I'm sure you'll get plenty of opportunities to get moving. Maybe you'll get bogged a few times and have to push the 4wd out!

How did you go with dinner last night mrs peel? I've got to go out tonight - will do my best to be good.

What day would you like to change to Jayne? I think a saturday morning would be perfect but mon is the only day available here so it means I have to try and be really good on weekends.

Welcome minime - sounds like you've got the exercise sorted! I hope the rest of the day went well.

I'm not going to be logging on for the next few days so feel free to start a weekend thread to help keep on track and I'll see you all again on tuesday!

Hi there

I had a weigh in today and was 65.2kg. Only lost 200g but am optimistically hoping that the jeans I was wearing are heaps heavier than the ones I usually wear for weigh in. My goal is 60kg so if I can lose 4kg by October I would be very happy.

I'm out to dinner tomorrow night which will be a challenge but I'm planning a nice long run on Saturday and a shorter one on Sunday so hopefully that will keep me on track.

I'm new to this message board stuff, but would love to join if I could. I've got exactly 4kg to go and have fallen off the wagon in such a spectacular fashion this week, that when I saw your 4kg by October challenge, I got quite excited! Please let me know either way, and if not, all the best for your challenge. :)

4kilos by October sounds like a good number and a doable amount. I am currently 77.4. So is that the first of Oct? so 8 weeks sounds a plan. Okay for me to jump on board??> lou

SO far so good this week. Motivation of a challenge definitely helps me.

Yesterday I had already achieved over 10,000 steps, then we walked (10 minutes walk) to a Rock n Roll Dance. We danced the night away which is the first time in Cairns that has happened. We used to dance a lot in Sydney but Cairns hasn't been the same. It was great last night. Then we walked home again.

Today my body is complaining - it is not used to so much exercise. But mentally I feel great. However the weekend is terrible for my food intake, so I am determined to be good this weekend. Usually on the weekend I undo the work I did during the week. Not this weekend!!

Thanks for the challenge - it is working for me
